Magnesium hand stamping dies are used my leather manufactures. They are some times called maker stamps. Customers place an oval outline with their information inside of the oval. Some leather stamps are also used to stamp the companies log or brand on the leather. Being a photographic process the detail will be completely dependent on the quality of the artwork furnished. These dies are chemically etched and are therefore only one level. We machine the extra material away and taper the edge of the die so it does not hit the leather.

We recommend that the artwork or design be no bigger than two inches wide. If it is to big or wide the image will not stamp correctly on the leather.
